Male Adders & Bee-fly on Hellenge Hill
reportOut on Hellenge hill Nature reserve, in Bleadon today, a nice warm calm day saw an abundance of Male adders on the reserve more than I usually see but probably as its mating season during April so the Males are out basking in the sun and in search of a mate. Also spotted this lovely Dark-edged Bee-fly.
